We start with a concept and move on to a sketch. You can choose from our array of stones or bring in your own. We work in all jewelry metals and all stones. The process is painless.. there’s no commitment. It's enjoyable and affordable.

Kate Marks, owner, is trained in all aspects of jewelry repair. Rings, pendants, chains, bracelets, pins and more can be repaired. Setting of stones in their original setting or a new style can be done on premises. Marks of Design, LLC can also help restyle your existing jewelry. Please bring in any items that you would like to repair or restyle and our staff will be happy to assist you in creating a piece that will get you noticed.

Repairing with our Laser Welder… an Added Benefit

Marks of Design, LLC has a laser welder on premises that allows us to do repairs and techniques that were impossible only a few short years ago. Because our laser welds with light, we can even repair prongs on most heat-sensitive gems, as well as do incredible designs in jewelry that were impossible before. It's leading technology – accessible to you!

Watch Repair
Battery replacement and link addition/removal can be done on most any watch brought into the store, and is done on premises. More extensive watch repair is done by our watchmaker who has over 40 years experience with all makes of watches.

Engraving
Personalization of your jewelry, gifts or awards can be done on-site at Marks of Design, LLC. We can engrave on brass, aluminum, stainless steel, pewter, silver, gold, titanium and platinum.

Appraisals
As a GIA (Gemological Institute of America®) graduate, Kate Marks is able to appraise your jewelry with knowledge and experience. You will recieve a detailed appraisal which is appropriate for insurance purposes. Photos taken on request.
